To the next level

All right folks, it's time to take the game to the next level. We've been playing for a bit and folks have gotten the chance to try out the system and such. Thus, from here on out, I'm going to make things a little harder, and unless I say otherwise, all combat events carry the possibility of death. I highly recommend you guys make backup character sheets just in case the worst occurs.
