If you're a real bastard, you can take someone as a human shield in combat. Doing so requires a Grapple roll to grab them, and another at the start of each turn to hang onto them. You can also use a dead body for a shield, making a Strength + Athletics roll to hold them up each turn if you're not moving, or an Agility + Athletics roll to keep them in front of you if you are. Doing so adds their armors DT and DR to your own for the purpose of soaking damage, but the downside is that you can only use one hand to do anything else. Two-handed weapons like rifles or swords will be rolled at +1 DC for each attack. Also, people are heavy. You can only keep your shield for the same number of rounds as you have points of Endurance.
