The Scavenging skill can give you a very minor boost to your Gear Point monthly reward. Once per week, you may roll Perception + Scavenging to see if you can find anything. You may also make this roll once per ST-led event. Keep track of how many successes you get. If, at the end of the month, those successes have added up to 20 or more, you will receive an extra Gear Point. You must have points in the Scavenging skill to do this, so no rolling straight Perception once a week.
