Ranged weapons have different difficulties and different rolls based on how far away the target is, and also the type of weapon being used. The difficulties posted here are for standard, un-modded weapons. Mods such as scopes lower the difficulty accordingly. Close Range (3 yards or less) Roll: Agility+Guns (Agility+Athletics for bows) Handguns and Shotguns: DC 4 Medium sized rifles: DC 5 Long-barreled rifles: DC 6
Medium Range (From 3 yards to the limit of the weapon's range rating) Roll: Either Agility+Guns or Perception+Guns (Agility+Athletics or Perception+Athletics for bows) All weapons: DC 6
Long Range (Up to double the posted range rating of the weapon) Roll: Perception+Guns (Perception+Athletics for bows) All weapons: DC 8
Extreme Range (More than double the posted range rating of the weapon) Roll: Perception+Guns (Perception+Athletics for bows) DC: 10

Parrying Guns and bows can be used to parry blows from melee weapons, either by sliding the blow aside with the metal barrel, or by using the wooden stock to block it. The DCs are slightly higher than they would be for melee weapons, since guns and bows obviously aren't designed for such things.
Handgun vs knife: DC 5 Handgun vs 1-hander: DC 6 Handgun vs 2-hander: DC 7
Rifle vs knife: DC 4 Rifle vs 1-hander: DC 5 Rifle vs 2-hander: DC 6
Long Rifle vs Knife: DC 4 Long Rifle vs 1-hander: DC 5 Long Rifle vs 2-hander: DC 6
